Before we commence cleaning we will complete a household analysis questionnaire so that we can ensure we have
tailored our work to suit your requirements. This will require a tour of your home
and a list of those who live with you and any special needs that may be required.
In general we will undertake the following:
All Rooms
Dust all woodwork and furniture, vacuum carpets, remove cobwebs from ceiling, walls or lighting. Empty and clean bins and ashtrays.
Clean windows, mirrors and paintwork
Kitchens
Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, floors, sinks, backsplashes, kitchen units and appliances.
Empty bins. Windows and ledges.
Bathrooms
Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, showers. Clean and polish tiles, mirrors and backsplashes. Vacuum or wash floors and empty bins. Clean windows and ledges
Bedrooms
Vacuum carpets, polish furniture, windows and ledges, empty bins, make beds, re-align curtains.
Clean en-suite (see bathrooms)
Depending on the time allocated it may be necessary to undertake some of this work on a rota basis.
We will leave a small note book with you and would be grateful if you would make comments or give instruction as to your preference.
Likewise please check this note book after each visit as we will use this as a way of communicating with you.
Equipment and Materials
It may be necessary to use some of your own equipment such as vacuum cleaners, mops, brushes etc.but most of the time EcoClean will
use their own materials which have been carefully chosen to ensure your home is safe and efficiently cleaned and do not have an adverse effect on the
environment.
Cloths are colour coded for hygiene reasons:Pink – bathroom, Orange/green – Kitchen, Blue other areas.
Spring cleaning can include:
- Oven cleaning
- Refrigerator cleaning
- Cabinet cleaning
- Carpet Cleaning
- Events cleaning
- Request special price details for the above
After Tenancy clean
All the above can be incorporated, including mattress and carpet removal and replacement.
Cleaning Staff
Cleaning staff will not enter
your property until they have been introduced to you.Most of the time the same cleaner or
cleaners will attend, but there may be times when other staff have to cover
holidays, illness etc.
All staff are checked for suitability, wear a uniform and will look neat and professional. EcoClean seeks to offer you a quality service at a competitive price.We will continually seek your
approval and evaluation of our staff and services.
Emergency, Security and Confidentiality
We will ensure we discuss the above with you on our first household analysis visit and please ensure you have
clearly stated what you feel is the procedure in the event of an emergency. Each
client is issued with an account number and alarm numbers will relate to this
and at no time will the alarm number and your addresses be kept together.
We will endeavour to work as
carefully as possible but in the event of a breakage we will contact you
immediately to discuss how to rectify the matter.
It would be helpful to ensure delicate possessions are put away on the
day of our visit or make sure it is recorded on the household analysis sheet.
Emergency procedure:
In the event of an emergency
staff will leave the premises by the nearest available exit, contact the
emergency services if required and then contact the person stated on the
Household Analysis Questionnaire.
Payment
Our invoice mainly covers wages and therefore should be paid immediately on receipt of invoice. If you wish to cancel or reduce our
services we need at least 48 hour notice otherwise you will be charged for this service.
